COVID-19 UPDATE

WE WILL BE HAVING TO TAKE EXTRA PRECAUTIONS FOLLOWING GOVERNMENT GUIDELINES IN THE SALON TO MAKE SURE WE ARE MINIMISING RISKS AT THIS TIME - THESE WILL BE SUBJECT TO CHANGE TO ENSURE WE CLOSELY FOLLOW GOVERNMENT GUIDANCE AS THIS IS ANNOUNCED.

• If you have an appointment in the next few weeks, we have tried to contact you. The salon is open until 6pm on 4th November 2020. If you have not been contacted, please email us or contact us through Facebook and we will aim to get back to you as soon as possible.

• Any client who is experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms will not be able to visit us. Please let us know as soon as possible so we are able to re-arrange your appointment.

• If you have any underlying health issues and/or are classed as high risk, please follow Government guidance.

• We ask that you arrive on time and wait outside for your appointment, adhering to social distancing rules - we will not be able to operate an internal waiting area. If you are late for your appointment, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to continue with your service.

• We will take your temperature using an infrared thermometer before you enter the salon. If you have a temperature of 38°C or over we will be unable to carry out your service.

• All staff and clients must wear a face mask / covering throughout your visit. We welcome you to wear your own, but we can provide a disposable mask.

• Each Stylist will have their own station to work from which will be disinfected before and after each client visit. The salon has been rearranged so that all stations meet social distancing guidance.

• Please bring a large enough bag with you so you can keep your coat and other personal belongings away from others or leave non-essential items in your car.

• We are unable to offer refreshments or magazines at this time - you are welcome to bring your own. (Please take with you when you leave the salon).

• Due to number restrictions we will not be offering any child services at this time.

• Only one member per household permitted on the premises - please come alone.

• We will only be able to work on freshly washed hair - so dry cuts will not be a service that we are able to offer. We are now able to offer blow-dries.

• We would prefer it if you could pay for your service by card but are accepting cash if really needed.

• For Track and Trace purposes we will need to collate all necessary contact details to ensure our systems are up to date. We also have a Track and Trace QR code that you can scan on entry.

• Due to additional costs incurred to trading and reduced capacity within the salons, there will be a temporary COVID surcharge on all services.

• You will be asked to use hand sanitiser on entering and exiting the salon.
